Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Solaeris (solaeris.io) is operated by Shawn McCulley. We produce personalized narrative packages. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. Questions: hello@solaeris.io
2. What we collect
When you place an order, we collect: your first name, birth date, birth time, birth location, sex, and responses to eight personality questions. We also collect your email address (via your account or provided at checkout) and payment information (processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number). We collect standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you use the site.
3. Why we collect it
Your birth data and questionnaire answers are used solely to generate your Audio-Static Package. Your email is used to send you order confirmation, your completed package, and any necessary service communications. We do not use your personal data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
4. Who has access to your data
We use the following third-party services to operate Solaeris. Each has its own privacy practices: Clerk (authentication) — clerk.com/privacy Stripe (payments) — stripe.com/privacy Neon (database hosting) — neon.tech/privacy Cloudflare (storage and DNS) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy Anthropic (AI text generation) — anthropic.com/privacy Replicate (AI image generation) — replicate.com/privacy ElevenLabs (audio generation) — elevenlabs.io/privacy Resend (email delivery) — resend.com/privacy Your birth data and questionnaire answers are transmitted to Anthropic, Replicate, and ElevenLabs as part of generating your package. These services process your data according to their own policies and do not retain it for training purposes under their standard terms.
5. How long we keep your data
Your order data and generated artifacts are stored for a minimum of 90 days after delivery, so that you can re-download your package if needed. After 90 days, we may delete generated artifacts from storage while retaining minimal order records (order ID, tier, date) for accounting purposes. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, or ask us to delete your data. Email hello@solaeris.io with your request. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR — contact us and we will address them appropriately.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in to your account (via Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking services.
8. Children
Solaeris is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page. We will not retroactively reduce your privacy rights without notice.
